“AC duct cleaning” is used for several different levels of work in Dubai. One quotation may cover accessible vents and ducts, while another includes coils, blower sections, drain trays and internal components. Comparing only the headline price can therefore be misleading.

Standard cleaning can suit a property with visible vent dust, a long gap since inspection or light post-renovation buildup. It does not automatically include internal AC components, repairs, replacement filters or inaccessible duct sections.

Deep duct cleaning — AED 530

Deep duct cleaning covers the standard accessible scope with more intensive cleaning for heavier buildup. An approved sanitising treatment may be included when appropriate for the confirmed system and product. The technician also reviews accessible airflow conditions after reassembly.

Sanitising is not a substitute for repairing moisture, drainage or insulation problems. If odour or staining is linked to a leak, the source needs a separate AC inspection and repair quotation.

Full AC deep cleaning — AED 1,100

The full package extends beyond ducts and vents to approved accessible internal components. Depending on the system, this can include filters, coil and blower sections, drain pan and accessible drain line. The team confirms what can be opened safely, how furniture and finishes will be protected, and what must be reassembled and tested.

  • Are supply and return paths both included?
  • Are grilles and reusable filters cleaned?
  • Which coil, blower or drainage components are included?
  • Is sanitising included, and which approved product is used?
  • Are access panels, ceiling openings or replacement parts separate?
  • How will occupied rooms and furniture be protected?

Signs that the system needs an inspection

Visible dust around grilles, musty odour during operation, renovation dust, uneven airflow or moisture around accessible components are sensible reasons to request an inspection. These signs do not prove that duct cleaning alone will solve the problem. Weak cooling, abnormal noise, shutdown faults or refrigerant concerns require diagnosis.

How to prepare a Dubai property

Share the AC type, number of units, approximate vent count, property type and exact community. Tell the team about high ceilings, restricted parking, security access, work permits or occupied rooms. In an apartment or commercial building, confirm whether management approval or a lift booking is required.
